Service Description
Welcome to my dye studio where you can learn to dye skeins, warps, or fabric made of cellulose fibers. Dyeing cellulose fibers doesn't require heat and is much easier than you might think. I have all the dyes, mordants, and other supplies needed, as well as instructions. Once you learn the system, you will be able to come to "Dye Days at the Studio" and work on your own. Cotton and linen need to be well-scoured before dyeing with detergent (Synthrapol or Dawn) and Soda Ash. If you don't want the trouble of preparing your own fiber or fabric for dyeing, you may purchase skeins, warps, and muslin lengths from me.
